WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2010
by admin on Nov.20, 2009, under Gaming, Latest Computer Games, Latest Release
Good
Very engaging creation modes
Noticeably better visuals and physics
Lots of shareable content
Bad
Limited Road to Wrestlemania mode
Core gameplay may still feel the same
The Smackdown Vs. Raw series has been the undisputed king of the ring (pun intended), when it comes to wrestling games, just like the parent franchise WWE has pretty much been ruling the wrestling franchise for generations. Sure there’s TNA Impact and a few other games that do turn up every now and then, but nothing has come close to the level of success or fan following as SVR.
Modern Warfare 2 Banned in Russia
by admin on Nov.18, 2009, under Latest Computer Games, Latest News
It seems all the controversy surrounding Modern Warfare 2 wasn’t limited to Activision nerfing the PC version. One of the missions where you step into the boots of a Terrorist at an airport has sent shockwaves all over the world with people over reacting (as usual) about how games are Satan’s tools of destruction.

TGS 09: WarDevil Impressions
by admin on Oct.02, 2009, under Latest Computer Games
WarDevil was announced way back in E3 2006 (or was it E3 2005?) as a PlayStation 3 exclusive but after that, it sort of vanished from the horizon due to certain financial issues. Now with UTV backing the game, developer Ignition have gone back to the drawing board to come up with a brand new game and engine from scratch that should hit the Xbox360 and PS3 sometime later next year.
TGS 09: Crackdown 2 Impressions
by admin on Oct.02, 2009, under Latest Computer Games
Crackdown has always been about co-operative, over the top mayhem and with Crackdown 2, developer Ruffian games is taking that ideology to the next level as was evident with the single and multiplayer build being shown at the Tokyo Game Show. While we could mess around with the multiplayer campaign, single player was strictly eyes only and we were given a taste of things to come by one of the game’s producers.
Wolfenstein
by admin on Sep.25, 2009, under Latest Computer Games
If you’re looking for a unique shooter experience let me tell you right off the bat that Wolfenstein’s not it. It has nothing innovative or outstanding about it, but somehow, its bag ‘o used goodies still comes together to offer an entertaining experience. It’s like a charming beast stitching together with age old ideas that have been used and abused by the genre over and over again.
Osmos
by admin on Sep.25, 2009, under Latest Computer Games
There’s a simple joy in playing minimalistic physics-based games that are anchored on ingenious game engines. Osmos is one such treat that’s developed by Hemisphere Games. The premise is simple - you gain control of a small ball of mass called a ‘mote’ and your goal is to become the biggest. To do so, the mote can absorb other globs of mass that are smaller than it, but if it touches one that’s larger, it gets absorbed, ending the game.
