### CPS Tree Plantation Drive Under Amrit Environmental Festival

On Wednesday, 07.08.2024, Central Public School, Udaipur, organized a remarkable tree plantation drive emphasizing our commitment to environmental sustainability and community service. The presence of District Education Officer - Mr. Lokesh Bharti Goswami' and 'Additional District Officer - Mr. Murli Chaubisa'added great value to this initiative.

CPS students enthusiastically participated in the event, planting 350 saplings in Meera Nagar. This effort highlights the school's dedication to promoting environmental awareness among students. By planting these trees, we aim to contribute positively to the ecosystem, improve air quality, and beautify our surroundings. The school's Environment Club played a crucial role in making this campaign successful. The chief guest highlighted the importance and utility of trees while addressing the students.

CPS Chairperson, Mrs. Alka Sharma, emphasized the significance of such initiatives in fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature among young minds. She stressed that these activities not only enhance greenery but also promote teamwork and community service values among students. Under this campaign, saplings were distributed to students to raise awareness about greening their surroundings. Enthusiastic participation was seen from Chairperson - Mrs. Alka Sharma, Administrative Director - Mr. Anil Sharma, Director - Mr. Deepak Sharma, Principal - Mrs. Poonam Rathod, Joint Director - Mr. Vikram Jeet Singh Shekhawat, Administrator - Mr. Sunil Babel, and Headmistress - Mrs. Krishna Shaktawat.
