Udaipur is set to add a new chapter to its tourism history with the "Vande Bharat - 2024" musical walkathon. Preparations are underway, and a crucial meeting of the organizing committee was held at Madhushree Auditorium in Ashoka Palace, chaired by founder Mukesh Madhwani.
This Independence Day, 150 singers, along with the public, will participate in this walkathon on Fatehsagar Pal, singing patriotic songs as they walk from Dewali end to the waterfall. The event will begin with the singing of "Vande Mataram" and conclude with the national anthem at the other end.
Mukesh Madhwani highlighted that the musical group has been consistently organizing entertaining events over the past year to encourage local artists. This walkathon, blending patriotism with music, is a unique gift to Udaipur's music lovers.
Event coordinator Brijesh Mishra shared that committee members are holding regular meetings to ensure the success of the event. The public can join the walkathon by registering for free through a WhatsApp link shared on social media.
In the meeting, media in-charge Ishwar Jain "Kaustubh," members Mohan Soni, and Mrs. Queena Mary explained the significance of the event, emphasizing its patriotic and musical essence.
