CPS Emerging Victorious in Under-17 and Under-19 (Girls) Categories

Udaipur,  The Urban Area Cricket Tournament concluded with a resounding victory for CPS (Central Public School) in the Under-17 and Under-19 girls' categories. The Under-17 girls' team from CPS bowled out MMPS (Modern Model Public School) for just 51 runs and chased down the target in just 6 overs, securing a magnificent win.

In the Under-19 category, CPS showcased excellent sportsmanship by successfully chasing a target of 120 runs set by Guru Nanak University in just 9.2 overs.

The City Area Cricket Tournament, organized in collaboration with CPS New Bhupalpura, took place from September 11th to 15th, 2023. The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Manoj Chaudhary, President of the District Cricket Association, and the head of the Wonder Cricket Academy, along with Poonamchand Mor, Ward Councillor of the Municipal Corporation, and Aman Agrawal, Director of Pacific Medical College, among others.

The event also saw the presence of Alka Sharma, Chairperson of CPS and Rockwoods, Vikramjeet Singhji Shekhawat, Joint Director of CPS, Sunil Babel, Administrator, Poonam Rathore, Principal, and Krishna Shaktawat, Headmistress, who extended their congratulations to the winning and runner-up teams. Medals and trophies were awarded to all the victors, and tokens of appreciation were presented to the officials associated with the event.

Following this, Vikramjeet Singhji Shekhawat, Joint Director of CPS, Sunil Babel, Administrator, Poonam Rathore, Principal, and Krishna Shaktawat, Headmistress, congratulated the winning and runner-up players.
