Dr. Anjana Verma, Associate Professor in the Community Medicine Department at Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital, was invited as the keynote speaker at the Pan-India Medical Student Convention held at Goa Medical College and Hospital from September 1st to 3rd. The convention brought together representatives from 70 different medical colleges across the country, totaling 700 participants. Dr. Verma addressed the theme of the convention, which revolved around "Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare."
During her address, Dr. Verma emphasized the significance of incorporating artificial intelligence into healthcare, highlighting its immense potential for improving healthcare delivery worldwide in the near future. She underscored how AI has the potential to bring about significant advancements in healthcare, making it a topic of utmost importance in the medical field.
