Dr. Vinod Mehta Honored by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) in Ireland

Dr. Vinod Mehta, a professor in the Neurology department at Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital, has been honored by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) in Dublin, Ireland.

Dr. Mehta participated in the ten-day Epilepsy Workshop and the ILAE Congress, where he was awarded the ILAE-YES Award for the Best Oral Presentation and the Travel Award.

The International League Against Epilepsy is one of the most prestigious organizations globally, dedicated to epilepsy research and neurological education. The ILAE Congress in 2023 in Dublin witnessed the participation of representatives worldwide.

Dr. Mehta, the only neurologist from Rajasthan, was part of the workshop and conference. He has also been invited to present and participate in the World Congress of Neurology (WCN) in Canada.

Dr. Mehta's work has been recognized for studying stress, insomnia, and developmental disorders in epilepsy patients.
