On August 14th, North Western Railway's Ajmer Division commemorated Partition Horrors Remembrance Day to honor the struggles and sacrifices of the people. Exhibitions were organized at the divisional office and major railway stations in the division.
Exhibitions were held at the Ajmer Divisional Office, Ajmer, Abu Road, and Udaipur railway stations. Freedom fighters and their families were invited and honored on this occasion. The event also featured the singing of the national anthem and patriotic songs. Freedom fighters, their families, railway officers, employees, and the general public attended the event. "Har Ghar Tiranga" themed selfie points were also set up at these stations. At Ajmer station, an exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Central Information Bureau and the Railways. The exhibition at Udaipur station was inaugurated by Regional Manager Mr. Mahendra Depal, along with other railway officers, employees, and the general public.
At Abu Road station, an exhibition was held in memory of Partition Horrors, and the families of freedom fighters Late Shri Rameshwar Dayal and Late Shri Roopchand Jain were honored. The event was attended by Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Diesel Shed Abu Road Mr. Karni Ram, Divisional Mechanical Engineer Mr. Gaurav Rakhecha, Assistant Mechanical Engineer Abu Road Mr. Jasram Meena, DRUCC member Mr. Sagarmal Agarwal, Railway Passenger Association member Mr. Basant Kumar Prajapat, Welfare Inspector Mr. Babulal Meena, Commercial Inspector Mr. R.S. Khatana, and JE Mr. Manish Kumar, along with other railway officers, employees, and the general public.
