Udaipur. As per the directions of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, AICC member Dinesh Khodania conducted a public hearing at the Circuit House on Friday to address the delay in the allocation of land from UIT against concessional rates and other issues raised by representatives of all sections of society. Approximately 30 organizations and representatives from various communities participated in the public hearing.
Representatives from various organizations and communities gathered at the Circuit House and shared their concerns with Khodania. Khodania inquired about the applications, the progress of the allocation process, and any issues those seeking land allocation faced. He also asked if they had personally inspected the land they were requesting. During the public hearing, applicants who had submitted their requests 15 to 20 years ago but had not received land allocation yet also voiced their concerns.
Khodania assured everyone that the land allocation process would be completed expeditiously. Chief Minister Gehlot often says, "You may get tired of asking, but I won't get tired of giving." Therefore, there will be no issues with land allocation. Khodani stated that several representatives requested land allocation for students' hostels, hospitals, and various social activities. He assured everyone that he would communicate the sentiments of all communities and organizations to the Chief Minister.
Afterward, when the Cabinet meeting takes place, efforts will be made to approve the land allocation proposal on a priority basis.
City Congress Committee President Fatahsingh Rathore, councilors Ajay Porwal, Arun Tank, Shankar Chandel, and many senior Congress leaders were present in the public hearing.
