Meeting Regarding Kumbhalgarh Tiger Reserve

0A meeting was convened on Friday under the chairmanship of Chief Wildlife Warden, A.R. Jain, regarding the procedural steps to be taken after the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) issued its formal approval for the Kumbhalgarh Tiger Reserve. During the meeting, discussions were held on the proposed tiger reserve's core area, buffer zone, and eco-sensitive zone.

The second technical committee meeting of the NTCA gave its formal approval for the Kumbhalgarh Tiger Reserve. The meeting focused on implementing the conditions laid out in the approval. It was decided in the meeting that the Deputy Chief Conservator of Forests, Rajasamand, will mark the buffer and eco-sensitive zones of Kumbhalgarh Tiger Reserve and submit a detailed report within five days to the committee. The meeting was attended by various members, including Rahul Bhatnagar from the NTCA, wildlife expert Satish Sharma, Deputy Forest Conservator of Rajasamand Alok Nath Gupta, DFO Shahtan Singh Devada, and Vandendra Singh Chundawat, among others.
