Udaipur, In compliance with the Model Code of Conduct for the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024, effective preventive action was taken by the Excise and Police departments against the illegal production, storage, and transportation of liquor. Under a joint operation, the authorities seized illicit liquor and destroyed 20,000 liters of wash.
Following the directives issued by Excise Commissioner Ansh Deep, additional Excise Commissioner Arun Kumar Haseeja, District Excise Officer Neelam Lakhara, Excise Officer Mahavir Rathore, and Assistant Excise Officer Bharat Meena led the excise and police departments in a coordinated operation. As part of this initiative, a complaint was lodged in the affected villages of Daya, Ambasa, Sali Bogara Forest Area, and Hathkad, resulting in the seizure of 80 liters of illicit liquor and the destruction of 10 stills.
Additionally, 20,000 liters of wash, used in the production of illicit liquor, were destroyed. The operation was carried out by Excise Inspector Vrit Girwa, Police Station Panarwa Officer in Charge Ankit Samariya, Excise Inspector Udyam Singh, Excise Guard Prabhulal, Police Head Constable Kantilal, Constables Kesari Singh, Jagga Singh, Ajit Singh May Jabta, and the Panarwa Police Station team.
