6th Cardiac Summit to Bring Together Cardiovascular Specialists from India and Abroad

Udaipur: Once again, Udaipur is set to witness a grand gathering of cardiovascular specialists as the 6th Cardiac Summit is scheduled to take place on November 18 and 19. The event is organized by the Heart and Rhythm Society, in collaboration with API Udaipur, Paras Health, and IMA Udaipur.

Dr. Amit Khandelwal, the event chairman, highlighted that the summit aims to facilitate discussions among national and international experts in cardiology on the implementation of innovations for a healthy heart. The summit serves as a platform for healthcare professionals to learn about advancements in the field of cardiovascular diseases and apply new techniques tailored to individual cases.

With participation from over 550 physicians, including more than 450 physicians and over 100 cardiologists from across the country and the world, the Cardiac Summit is expected to be a knowledge-sharing hub for the latest developments in cardiology.

This year's summit is noteworthy for hosting international faculty members, such as Prof. Dr. David Sim from Singapore, who will address heart failure in a special session. Dr. David Sim is the President of the Heart Failure Society in Singapore and holds key positions in the field of cardiology.

The summit will feature various events at public venues to raise awareness about heart health and promote a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Khandelwal mentioned that this edition of the Cardiac Summit is unique as it marks the first time that international faculty members will actively participate, providing valuable insights.

The scientific sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including the role of cardiac biomarkers by Dr. Jayesh Khandelwal from Udaipur, the impact and treatments of diabetes on the heart by Dr. Jay Chordia and Dr. Deepesh Agrawal from Udaipur and Jaipur, respectively. The conference will also delve into the use of syncope in diagnosis and the role of non-invasive PCI versus thrombolysis.

Special sessions on exercise and lifestyle for a healthy heart, as well as CPR sessions to impart life-saving tips, will be conducted. Renowned speakers such as Dr. Bharat Ravat, Dr. Sachet Goyal, and Dr. Amit Khandelwal will share their experiences and insights on winning over heart diseases and other health challenges.

The summit will conclude with a book review of "You Can Heal Your Life" by Dr. Bharat Ravat from Indore. Lectures on preventive cardiology, the use of modern treatment techniques, and a session on the practical application of TAVI will be delivered by experts from various cities.

The event promises to be an enriching experience for healthcare professionals and the general public alike, fostering knowledge exchange and promoting heart health awareness.
