The International Conference on Management Research & Cases 2023 (ICMRC 2023) was organized by the School of Management, Sir Padampat Singhania University, in association with the Centre for Innovation in Skills & Social Entrepreneurship (CISSE), SPSU & The European Xtramile Centre of African Studies (EXCAS) on May 12 – 13, 2023.

Dr. Shweta Lalwani, Conference Convenor and Head School of Management, and Prof. Sadananda Prusty, Dean School of Management, welcomed the dignitaries. Prof. (Dr.) Padmakali Banerjee, Honourable Vice-Chancellor & President, SPSU, emphasized sustainability, inclusiveness, mindfulness, the paradigm shift in management research, the use of big data, and a multidisciplinary approach. The conference also witnessed the launch of the STAR program - SPSU Training Academy and Research Center. This will cater to corporate training, MDP, and the executive education sector. Focusing on the well-being and holistic development of students an MOU between SPSU and the YOL Happiness Foundation was also signed. The University officials, Col.(Dr) Sanjiv Tomar, Pro-President, Dean of Academics Prof. Bhavana Adhikari, Prof. Arun Kumar, Dean of School of Engineering, and faculty members from the School of Management and Engineering participated actively and made substantial contributions throughout the congruence.

Eminent experts from both industry and academia as Mr. Sean O'Brien (Global Head for Education & Customer Support, SAS, USA), Prof. (Dr.) Uday Shankar Saha (RBI Chair, Professor (ex) at IRMA, CGM (former) NABARD, India), Prof. (Dr.) Simplice Asongu (Lead Economist and Director EXCAS, Belgium), Mr. Ashish Bhalla (Director-HR & Head - Campus Relations, HCLTech, Noida), Dr. Tauseef Zia Siddiqui (Environment & Compliance Advisor, LNG Canada, Canada), Mr. Yogesh Kochher (Global Ambassador for Happiness, CEO at, Gurgaon, India), Prof. (Dr.) Sudhirkumar Barai, (Director, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus, India), Prof. (Dr.) Rajeshwari Narendran (Director, NTPC School of Business, Noida), Mr. Vivek Iyer, Vice President, Sales- Anthology Ltd., and Prof. (Dr) Kiran Devendra (Former Head, Department of Elementary Education, NCERT, New Delhi), Er. Chandra Prakash Jain, Chairman, Institution of Engineers, Udaipur Local Centre, Mr. Freddy Walespathy, Senior Business Manager, Education, and Academia, SAS Institute (India) Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Himanshu Singla, CEO and Managing Director, Matyaj and Col. Narendra Singh Shaktawat, CEO, UCCI, Udaipur made their esteemed presence.

Academicians across the globe from renowned universities such as the University of Hull, UK, Cyprus International University, Cyprus; Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou, China; University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana; Northwestern Polytechnical University, Shaanxi, Xi’an, China; Chang’an University, Xi’an, China, Nanjing Agricultural University, Nanjing, China, Istanbul Ticaret University, Istanbul, Turkey and BITS Pilani, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Kharagpur, NIT Rourkela and others presented their research papers in various technical sessions.

The scientific sessions were chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Nina Muncherji, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Dr. Himanshi Tiwari, BIMTECH, Greater Noida, Dr. Bimal Kishore Sahoo, Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, India, Prof. (Dr.) Vibhor Paliwal, Sangam University, Bhilwara, Prof. (Dr.) Harshita Shrimali, GITS, Udaipur and Dr. Pabitra Kumar Jena, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, J&K.

Students across the state presented their posters on ‘Issues in G-20 SMART FARMING’. The conference served as a platform for unveiling cutting-edge research in various management disciplines and collaboration to address the multifaceted challenges organizations face in a rapidly changing global landscape.
