Banswara, The eight-day grand religious festival at the historic Lalivav Math concluded with the culmination of the Shrimad Bhagwat Gyan Yagya, accompanied by the enlightening discourses of Jagadguru Agramaluk Peethadhishwar Swami Shri Rajendradass Devacharyaji Maharaj. He called for the preservation of Sanatan Dharma, protection of the nation, and the adoption of traditional ethical values and principles.
In his powerful sermons, Devacharyaji stressed the importance of moral character and values in building a strong society and nation. Reciting the twelfth chapter of the twelfth canto of Shrimad Bhagwat, he highlighted the spiritual significance of daily Bhagwat recitation, marking it as his first public rendition in 34 years of storytelling.
Warnings Against Family Planning and Nature-Defying Acts
He condemned family planning as unnatural and warned of its dire consequences, referencing countries facing crises due to population control measures. He described practices like contraception and abortion as sins greater than Brahma-hatya (killing of a Brahmin). Emphasizing the sanctity of women as life-givers, he stated that only pure and virtuous women can create a righteous nation.
Focus on Discipline and Virtue
Devacharyaji glorified self-restraint and celibacy, urging people to embrace discipline and righteousness for the welfare of the nation and the world. He wished for grand religious events like this to continue annually at Lalivav Math, a sacred site of immense spiritual significance.
The closing ceremony witnessed the participation of Lalivav Peethadhishwar Mahamandaleshwar Shri Harinomdasji Maharaj and the chief hosts, Lakshmikant Trivedi and his family, who performed the Vyaspith puja and aarti. Devotees, immersed in faith and devotion, celebrated the successful conclusion of this grand festival with reverence.
