Hundreds of saints and devotees from across the country will gather in Banswara for a grand religious festival at the historic Lalivav Math from November 20-27. Preparations are underway on a war footing.
The festival will feature the Shri Mahavidya and 108-Kundiya Shri Lakshminarayan Mahayagya along with a recitation of the Bhagavad Katha by revered Saint Shri Rajendradass Devacharya Ji Maharaj. Extensive arrangements are being made across the Math grounds, including setting up large pavilions.
### Highlights of the Event
- **Seven-Day Bhagavad Parayan**: 108 scholars will recite the full Bhagavad Parayan, completing a total of 1,944,000 sacred verses over seven days.
- **108-Kund Havan Ceremony**: Rituals for divine blessings will be performed using mantras from the tenth chapter of the Bhagavad.
- **Collective Ritual for Ancestors**: Unique ceremonies like tarpan, Vishnu Sahasranama, and recitation of the Dwadashakshara mantra will be held for ancestral liberation.
- **Special Shree Yantra Worship**: Shree Yantras will be consecrated and distributed as part of traditional worship.
- **Nine-Kund Lakshminarayan Mahayagya**: Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, this ritual will feature daily ceremonies and offerings.
The Bhagavad Katha will be recited daily from November 21-27, from 1 PM to 5 PM, by renowned spiritual leader Swami Shri Rajendradass Devacharya Ji Maharaj, bringing blessings and enlightenment to the people of Banswara.
**Grand Procession on November 20**
The festival will open with a grand procession at 2 PM on November 20, starting from the Siddhanath Mahadev Temple and proceeding to Lalivav Math, featuring monks, devotional music groups, and thousands of devotees.
The event is being organized in memory of former Lalivav Math Mahant Shri Narayandass Maharaj, under the auspicious guidance of Srimad Jagadguru Tiladvarachary Mangalmath Adhyaksha. The organizing committee has been actively engaged in preparations for five months, coordinating daily meetings and outreach efforts across villages and cities.
