Banswara,The eight-day grand religious festival organized in memory of former Shri Mahant Narayandas Ji Maharaj at the historic and spiritually significant Lalivav Math concluded on Wednesday with the final offerings of the Sri Vidya Mahayagna and the nine-pit Sri Lakshmi Narayan Yagna. The event witnessed the presence of numerous saints and thousands of devotees, turning the math into a sea of devotion.
In a ceremony led by Jagadguru Agramluk Peethadheeshwar Shri Rajendradass Devacharya Ji Maharaj, Lalivav Peethadheeshwar Shri Mahant Hariomdas Ji Maharaj, Shri Mahant Ghanshyamdas Ji Maharaj of Guru Ashram Chhinch, and Gau Saint Shri Raghuveerdas Ji Maharaj, the festival's chairman and chief yajman, Advocate Laxmikant Trivedi, performed the final oblations alongside his family.
Under the guidance of Yagna Acharyas Pandit Nikunjmohan Pandya and Brahmarshi Pandit Divyabharat Pandya, rituals including the consecration of Shri Yantras, Kumkumarchan, Shat Chandi, and Rudrarchan were conducted. The yagna also featured sacred offerings like Shri Sukta, Lakshmi Narayan Anushthan, and Durga Yantra Puja, with thousands of devotees completing symbolic circumambulations for blessings of peace, prosperity, and well-being.
Rituals for Ancestors' Salvation
In memory of all ancestors, rituals for Tarpan and Pind Daan were performed under the leadership of Dharma Acharya Pandit Narayan Shastri of Nirmohi Akhada, Ujjain. Participants expressed their gratitude for liberation from ancestral debts by completing all prescribed Vedic ceremonies with faith and devotion.
Completion of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha
The event also featured Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, conducted by 108 scholars from across India, with a focus on universal salvation. Led by Pandit Yogendra Mishra, the Katha reached its spiritual peak on the final day, culminating in the circumambulation of Bhagwat scriptures and honoring the scholars with gifts and offerings.
Grand Feast Marks the End
Following the conclusion of the Mahayagna, a massive feast was organized, where thousands of devotees partook in the sacred prasad. The math brimmed with faith and devotion as followers and disciples from far and wide gathered to offer prayers and receive blessings.
Prominent saints, including Jagadguru Tiladwaracharya Shri Madhavacharya Ji Maharaj and Ayodhyacharya Ji Maharaj, along with spiritual leaders from various ashrams, mathas, and akhadas across India, bid farewell as the festival concluded on a high note of devotion and spirituality.
