Garg Rishi Jayanti and GPL-2 Tournament to be Held from September 6 to 8

Bhilwara: Continuing the tradition, this year, the birth anniversary of Shri 1008 Shri Gargacharya Ji Maharaj, the revered deity of the Shri Garg Brahmin community, will be celebrated with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, the Shri Garg Brahmin Youth Society, Bhilwara, will organize the grand celebration of Garg Rishi Jayanti and GPL-2.

In this regard, a press conference was held today at the Shri Garg Brahmin Youth Society's Nohray. The event began under the guidance of the society's patron, Mukut Bihari Garg. The society's president, Radheshyam Garg, informed that a three-day event will be organized from September 6 to 8 to commemorate Garg Rishi Panchami and Garg Rishi Jayanti, in which 10 teams from the Mewar region will participate in the GPL-2 league.

On September 8, Garg Rishi Jayanti will begin at 11:15 AM with a Havan and Puja, followed by a Kalash Yatra led by women. At 3:00 PM, the winners of GPL-2 will be awarded prizes. Afterward, a community meal and refreshments will be served.

During the press conference, the society's vice president Omprakash Garg, treasurer Panchanan Garg, secretary Prahlad Garg, Satish Garg, Chanchal Garg, event coordinator Niranjan Garg, and other young members like Vijay Garg, Arpit Garg, Pankaj Garg, Kamlesh Garg, and Abhay Garg were present.
