Rajsamand – Known as Asia’s largest marble market, the four-day Stormin India Business Booster event at the Mewar Club in Rajsamand attracted a significant number of visitors on its second day. The event witnessed large crowds at every stall, with business inquiries peaking from afternoon to evening.
Mohan Bohra, CEO of Stone Helpline Corporation and organizer of Stormin India, highlighted that marble and mine owners from Rajsamand, Jalore, Abu, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Bhilwara, Ajmer, and across Rajasthan attended the event. They explored high-tech machinery and expressed interest in integrating advanced technologies into their businesses.
High-Tech Machines: Doubling Production and Profit
Ankit Agarwal, CEO of Shree Rajasthan Enterprises, stated that after China and Europe, India’s Ajmer has emerged as a hub for stone-processing machinery. His company, established in 1968 in Ajmer, manufactures stone-processing machines. The company showcased a 14-blade multicutter machine, which offers higher production in less time while saving electricity through I3/I4 motors. These machines are poised to rival Chinese equipment in performance and efficiency.
Sarabjit Singh, from SDP Group, revealed that their company, which has been manufacturing stone-processing machinery since 2002, focuses on cost-efficient solutions. Their dual RPM multicutter has been a game-changer in cost-cutting, while their low-cost polishing line machines are among India’s most economical.
Priyanka Vijaya, Machinery Manufacturing Director of Mahavir Group, participated in Stormin India for the first time with live demos of her company’s latest multicutter technology. Mahavir Group, in the machinery business since 2010, specializes in solid work and NX software for the stone segment. She emphasized that their heavy-duty machines reduce vibration, noise, and maintenance costs while boosting production.
Vadamutha’s Steel Wire Manufacturing Excellence
Shirish Jadhav, Senior Manager of Nashik-based Vadamutha Company, exhibited their products at Stormin India. The company produces 64mm steel wires and annually manufactures 60,000 tons of steel wire, 24,000 tons of wire ropes, and 4,800 tons of copper wire.
