Sanskrit is a Superior, Cultural, and Divine Language – Prof. Sarangdevot*

*Udaipur, Rajasthan Vidyapeeth Vice Chancellor Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot described Sanskrit as a superior, cultural, and divine language, as well as the mother of many languages. He shared these remarks during the Sanskrit District Conference and Talent Honor Ceremony organized by Sanskrit Bharati, held in collaboration with Vidyapeeth and Pacific University.

The chief guest, Chittorgarh MP C.P. Joshi, emphasized that Sanskrit holds an immense reservoir of knowledge, which is the soul of India. He stressed the need to bring Sanskrit into the mainstream and identified it as the foundation for reviving India's ancient knowledge system.

On this occasion, RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) leader Shrikant and MLA Phool Singh Meena highlighted the importance of preserving Sanskrit, calling it essential for protecting the motherland and the mother tongue. They also referred to Sanskrit as the language of prayers, crucial for society's moral responsibility.

Winners of various competitions held during the Sanskrit Week, which began on Raksha Bandhan, were awarded the Maharshi Panini Prize. Additionally, individuals who made significant contributions to Sanskrit were honored with the Sanskriti Gaurav Award.
