###  JRNU :nternational Conference on Women’s Health

The sixth two-day international conference on physiotherapy was inaugurated at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth. Prof. Ajit Kumar Karnataka, Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, highlighted that physiotherapy addresses specific conditions in women, particularly pelvic floor disorders. He explained that millions of women suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction, often unaware of therapeutic options available to alleviate pain and improve quality of life. Through physiotherapy, women’s health systems and lifestyles can be positively impacted.

The conference was presided over by Prof. Col. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Vice Chancellor of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, who emphasized that physiotherapy plays a vital role in helping women overcome conditions like anemia and bone diseases. He underlined that the integration of physiotherapy into women’s healthcare is essential for fostering mental and physical well-being, offering tailored and compassionate care throughout various life stages.

Distinguished guests included Prof. Gajendra Mathur, Dean, School of Agriculture Science; Dr. Ajit Saharan, Principal, NIMS College of Physiotherapy, Jaipur; and Allen Ten, Director, AO Love Pilates Studio, Malaysia. Principal and organizing secretary Shailendra Mehta shared that the conference saw participation from experts from Turkey, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and India, with lectures on spinal manual therapy, Pilates, and exercise training. Around 600 participants registered, with over 100 papers and 50 posters presented at the event.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Sumita Khaound.
