Braj International Film Festival to be Held in Vrindavan

The second edition of the Braj International Film Festival is all set to take place on April 19 and 20 at Krishna Funland Cinema, Chhatikara Road, Vrindavan. Organized by the renowned cultural organization ‘Bansuri’, the festival will feature a wide array of short films, music videos, documentaries, and feature films.

Festival founder Vinay Goswami shared that a special highlight of the event will be the inclusion of Marathi filmmaker and director Amol Bhagat as a judge. Known for his acclaimed film Pune to Goa, Bhagat has served as a jury member at 59 national and international film festivals and is widely respected for his storytelling and cinematic vision.

Eminent personalities like screenwriter Dr. Achala Nagar, actor Brajendra Kala, and TV & film producer-director Siddharth Nagar will also grace the occasion. Esteemed actress and Member of Parliament Hema Malini has been invited as the chief guest.

According to Vivek Acharya, Secretary of ‘Bansuri’, awards will be presented in four categories: Best Film, Best Story, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Actress. Additionally, a prominent figure from Indian cinema will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
