Two Eye Donations Facilitated with the Support of Shine India Foundation

Following the sudden demise of two noble souls in the city on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, eye donation was carried out with the consent of the grieving families, thanks to the support of the Shine India Foundation.

Late Wednesday night, Mr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Vaibhav Mittal's father, a Shubh Atlantis Apartments resident in Swami Vivekanand Nagar, passed away. Subsequently, upon the consent of Ashok's brothers Manoj and Naresh, the eye donation of late Ashok was facilitated by his sister-in-law, Brijbala. After receiving Brijbala's consent, the foundation members performed the eye donation procedure late at night using Ashok's mortal remains.

In a similar sequence of events, the sudden demise of Mrs. Savitri Devi Varma, a resident of Mahaveer Nagar Third, associated with the Kabir Parakh Foundation, occurred on Thursday morning. After obtaining the consent of Savitri's husband, Motilal, Guruji Prabhakar from the Kabir Parakh Foundation conducted the eye donation procedure at Savitri's residence.
