Udaipur: A mesmerizing musical evening featuring renowned singer Nitin Mukesh will be organized by the Udaipur chapter of the international music and arts organization “Srijan The Spark” on Sunday, October 6th, at Opera Garden, 100 Feet Road, Zinc City, Udaipur. The event will commence at 6:15 PM.
Rajesh Khamesara, the Apex President of Srijan The Spark, revealed during a press conference that Nitin Mukesh, the son of legendary singer Mukesh, has performed in numerous musical shows across India and abroad. Srijan The Spark, established 10 years ago, has opened 14 chapters across India and four chapters internationally, promoting Indian music globally. The organization has made significant strides in offering a platform to both celebrated and local artists. The event is supported by Hindustan Zinc, with retired IPS officer Prasanna Kumar Khamesara serving as the organization’s Chief Patron.
Dinesh Kataria, President of Srijan The Spark, mentioned that in addition to the musical performance, two prominent individuals who have significantly contributed to spreading Rajasthan’s cultural heritage worldwide will be honored. Prakash Jain, Chairman of Inspira Entertainment India Ltd., will receive the Excellence Award for Business Visionary Achievement, and Pankaj P. Shah, CMD of P.G. Foils Ltd., will be honored with the Amir Khusro Business Iconic Award.
Renowned Rajasthani folk singer Seema Mishra will be awarded the Special Art Motivator Award, and the prestigious Hindustan Zinc Srijan Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to ghazal maestros Padma Shri Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Mohammed Hussain. Additionally, Nitin Mukesh will be recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award from Srijan The Spark.
Arun Mishra, CEO of Hindustan Zinc Ltd., expressed his pleasure that this year’s Hindustan Zinc Srijan Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Rajasthan’s famous ghazal singers Ustad Ahmed Hussain and Mohammed Hussain. “Rajasthan is known for its rich culture, traditions, and heritage, and the Srijan The Spark program is a significant initiative to promote these aspects. Hindustan Zinc has always worked towards preserving India’s cultural heritage in arts and music, and this is yet another milestone in our efforts,” Mishra said.
Executive President Rajendra Sharma added that for the first time, this musical evening will commence with a Rajasthani folk music performance.
Apex Secretary Abbas Ali Bandukwala shared that entry to the event is free, but passes are required. He also mentioned that this year’s Art Motivator Awards will honor notable individuals such as TV and film artist Hemant Pandey with the Srijan V.D. Paluskar Award, famous artist Kamal Sharma with the Omkarnath Thakur Award, producer, writer, and artist Kajal Suri with the Nandalal Bose Award, and TV and film actor Syed Saleem Afzal Zaidi with the Master Madan Award. The Rajasthani folk singer Seema Mishra will also receive the Khemchand Prakash Award.
Shyam S. Singhvi, former president of Srijan The Spark, announced that within two years, a dedicated music academy will be established, allowing music enthusiasts from across the globe to receive music education and showcase their talents.
Secretary Brijendra Seth mentioned that free passes can be collected from designated locations. The organization aims to bring national talent into the limelight through their events. A 45,000-square-foot academy dedicated to ghazal music is also being constructed, where renowned artists will teach music and art to students. Present at the event were Manish Vasudev, Chief Human Resource Officer of Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Bhupendra Srimali, Prakash Lodha, and Kishore Pahuja, along with other distinguished members of the organization.
