Mumbai,A grand celebration of Gangaur Puja was organized at Cuffe Parade, Colaba. A large number of women participated in the event, offering prayers and worship to Goddess Gangaur.
Gangaur Puja is a significant traditional festival of Rajasthan and Gujarat, dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The primary objective of this festival is for married women to pray for the well-being and longevity of their husbands.
During the celebration at Cuffe Parade, Colaba, women actively took part in the worship rituals, expressing their devotion to Goddess Gangaur. Various cultural programs were also organized on this occasion.
The local community participated enthusiastically in the event, making it not just a religious gathering but also an opportunity to promote unity and social harmony among the residents. Several prominent women from the Marwari community, including Rakhi Gupta, Asha Agarwal, Raji Agarwal, Sunita Jain, Sanchi, and Shruti, were present. The event was organized by Sahastrika Club at Maker Tower.
