### India-US Joint Training Exercise Yudh Abhyas: Contingents Train Hard

**Jaipur, The India-US Joint Training Exercise, ‘YUDH ABHYAS-24,’ continues to progress with vigor. This 13-day exercise, featuring 600 Army personnel from both India and the USA, is underway at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan. The exercise, which began on September 9, 2024, will run until September 21, 2024.

Focused on achieving interoperability, the exercise has involved rigorous combat conditioning and tactical training over the past week. This training has included firing drills and battle hardening sessions. Both the Indian and US contingents have utilized this opportunity to familiarize themselves with each other's weapons, equipment profiles, operational procedures, and drills.

The exercise will culminate in a 48-hour validation exercise, scheduled from September 19 to 21, 2024.
