THE HONOUR RUN' BIB EXPO HELD AT GANDIV STADIUM

'Jaipur,The Bib Expo for the Honour Run was inaugurated at Gandiv Stadium, Jaipur Military Station, on December 5. Shri Madan Dilawar, Education and Panchayati Raj Minister, Rajasthan, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, Mrs. BarinderJeet Kaur, Regional President of AWWA, and other dignitaries were present.

The event featured thrilling martial activities, including Kalaripayattu, Gatka, a paramotor show, and trick riding by the 61 Cavalry. The crowd was captivated by these performances. The first Bibs were handed over by the chief guests, including Dr. Deepa Malik, Padma Shri and Arjuna Awardee, and Mrs. Ritu Gaur, General Manager of SBI.

Special guest speakers like Paralympian Dr. Deepa Malik, Asian Marathon Champion Mrs. Sunita Godara, Mrs. Sangeeta Bishnoi, and Para Athlete Colonel Anuj Bindra motivated the attendees with their inspiring words. Senior army officials, Army Public School students, and NCC cadets also participated.

Bib distribution will continue on December 6, with an additional day for outstation runners on December 7.

The Honour Run on December 8, 2024, themed "A Run for Veterans," will include time-based categories: 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, and a 3 km fun run. The event will be flagged off by Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister for Industry & Commerce, IT & Communication, Rajasthan. This event aims to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of the Indian Army’s brave veterans while promoting health awareness.
