Vikrant University Gwalior Committed to Sports Activities

Gwalior, January 7, 2025: The sports complex of Vikrant University was visited by Shri Joseph Boxla, District Sports Officer of Gwalior. During the visit, he inspected the facilities at the sports complex and provided suggestions for organizing sports activities.

On this occasion, Shri Rakesh Singh Rathore, Chancellor of Vikrant University, emphasized that the university is committed to providing full support for organizing sports activities and training camps in Gwalior district. He assured that the sports complex will become an ideal venue for sports enthusiasts and players in the future.

Prof. Amarika Singh, Vice Chancellor of Vikrant University, proposed organizing sports activities and training camps in Gwalior district. He stated that the university's sports complex is fully prepared to provide players with excellent training and facilities. Additionally, he expressed the university's willingness to support various sports events.

Vikrant University's Pro Chancellor, Vikrant Singh Rathore, extended a warm welcome to Shri Joseph Boxla and the coaches from Gwalior district. He thanked them for their visit and mentioned that this tour is a significant step toward promoting sports in Gwalior district, and the university is eager to provide any assistance.

Shri Joseph Boxla, District Sports Officer of Gwalior, assured full support from the District Sports Department for the West Zone Inter-University Tournament organized by Vikrant University. He expressed hope that the tournament would bring new enthusiasm and prosperity to the sports sector in Gwalior district.

Dr. K.D. Pathak, Registrar of Vikrant University, stated that a work plan for organizing the West Zone Inter-University Kho-Kho competition would be prepared soon. He mentioned that the team under the guidance of Director of Sports, Dr. Kuldeep Singh Jhala, is working towards making the event successful.

Prof. Chauhan, Pro Vice Chancellor of Vikrant University, explained that the purpose of this meeting and visit was to encourage sports activities in Gwalior district and provide top-notch facilities for the players. Vikrant University is continuously making active efforts to promote sports in Gwalior city.
