### Lake City May Host Indo-Spanish Cultural Event Next Year

Udaipur,  Udaipur, renowned for hosting grand national and international events and a favored destination for weddings, may soon witness another prestigious international event. The Embassy of Spain in India is considering organizing an Indo-Spanish cultural fusion program in Udaipur in 2026.

To discuss this, the Ambassador of Spain to India, Juan Antonio March Pujol, met with District Collector Namit Mehta at the Collectorate on Friday. On his three-day visit to Udaipur, Pujol apprised the District Collector of the Spanish Embassy’s intent and elaborated on the significance of this event in strengthening cultural ties between India and Spain.

Following the meeting, the ambassador toured the city's iconic tourist spots, including Gangaur Ghat and Fatehsagar Lake, and praised Udaipur’s mesmerizing beauty. He was accompanied by Deputy Director of Tourism, Shikha Saxena, during the visit.
