Jaipur/New Delhi. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani has described the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir as the height of cowardice.

Devnani said that this is not only inhuman, but also a direct attack on the unity and peace of the country.

He has expressed his deep condolences to the bereaved families and prayed to God for peace to the departed souls and also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

*Exhibition inaugurated at Ajmer Museum on 543rd birth anniversary of Maharana Sanga*

Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani on Tuesday inaugurated the exhibition organised by the Archaeology Department at Ajmer Museum on the occasion of 543rd birth anniversary (as per Hindu date) of the great warrior and patriot Maharana Sangram Singh-I (Maharana Sanga).

The exhibition depicts the unique sacrifice, courage and spirit of service to the nation of Maharana Sanga.

In this exhibition, the unique sacrifice, courage and spirit of service to the nation of Maharana Sangram Singh-I was depicted. Maharana Sangram Singh I was born on Vaishakh Krishna Navami Vikram Samvat 1539. According to his date, the exhibition has been organized on the occasion of his 543rd birth anniversary on 22 April under the aegis of Archaeology and Museum Department Ajmer Circle and Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, Udaipur.

While observing the exhibition, Devnani said that the life of Maharana Sanga is known as a source of inspiration in Indian history. Maharana Sangram Singh-I is counted among the most heroic rulers in Indian history. He dedicated his entire life to the protection of the nation while fighting foreign invaders. His valor and strategic leadership defeated the enemies time and again and maintained the Indian pride.

While praising this initiative taken by the museum officials, the speaker Devnani said that such exhibitions prove to be helpful in connecting the youth with their history and awakening the spirit of patriotism and bravery in them. He said that the new generation should take inspiration from the life of ascetic and national leaders like Maharana Sanga. Youth should move forward with the spirit of Nation First. He said that ancient India was once the world leader. Today's India is again moving on the same path. For this, everyone should join together in the restoration of their ancient glory.

Rare photographs related to the life of Maharana Sanga, depictions of war plans, details related to gallantry tales and historical documents have been included in the exhibition.
