Udaipur : The four-day event ‘Apno Se Apni Baat,’ organized by Narayan Seva Sansthan, concluded with Chairman Prashant Agarwal dedicating the session to women empowerment in honor of Chaitra Navratri. He emphasized the crucial role of women in driving social and economic change worldwide. Citing the achievements of women in education, medicine, agriculture, science, sports, business, and space, he highlighted astronaut Sunita Williams, who recently returned from space after conducting 150 experiments over nine months.
The event saw participation from schoolgirls and differently-abled individuals from various states who received free surgeries and artificial limbs. Agarwal remarked that Indian history is filled with significant contributions from women, and India has had female Presidents and Chief Ministers. Stressing the importance of girl education and the ‘Beti Bachao’ initiative, he stated that an educated woman enlightens an entire generation.
The event was broadcast nationwide on the ‘Aastha’ channel, with coordination by Mahim Jain.
