### National Standard Examination in Junior Science Concludes*

Kota, The National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) 2024-25 was successfully conducted on Sunday, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Students from classes 8, 9, and 10 participated in this exam. The results are expected to be announced in the first or second week of January.

Nitin Vijay, Founder and CEO of Motion Education, informed that students of classes 9 and 10, following the CBSE curriculum, were asked 20 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. A total of 60 multiple-choice questions, carrying 216 marks, were to be answered in 120 minutes. Regarding the difficulty level, the exam could be considered medium to hard. The answer key is likely to be released soon on the official website.

Mukesh Goyal, Academic Head at Motion Education Foundation, explained that the NSEJS is one of the most prestigious exams in the country, aiming to identify and nurture scientific talent among students. Successful candidates are given the opportunity to participate in the Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO). The final stage of this exam is the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO), which is designed to assess students' scientific aptitude. Approximately 300 top students are selected for the INJSO from different states based on their performance. This exam is conducted in the last week of January, consisting of both theory and objective papers.
