### Greater Kota Press Club to Fight for Chandresal Housing Scheme for Journalists

**Kota:** A meeting of the patron committee and executive body of the Greater Kota Press Club was held at the Rotary Binani Auditorium in the Cantonment area. Various issues were discussed, with a major focus on expediting the lottery process for the proposed Chandresal Housing Scheme for journalists by the Urban Development Trust. The club will seek support from the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and other officials to implement this scheme. A delegation of journalists will soon visit Jaipur to meet with the Chief Minister.

Greater Kota Press Club President Sunil Mathur announced that several important decisions were made during the executive meeting. Discussions were held on membership renewal, membership drives, the general assembly, and various schemes for the welfare of journalists. Membership renewals will start from August 10. Regular monthly meetings will be held to follow up on key issues and work towards their implementation.

General Secretary Anil Bhardwaj revealed plans to develop the city office into a media center. Following the meeting, the club celebrated Treasurer Badri Prasad Gautam's birthday and extended their best wishes. A two-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to senior journalists Naresh Vijay Vargiya, Arjun Dev Chaddha, and Jai Narayan Saxena, who recently passed away.

The meeting was chaired by President Sunil Mathur, with the presence of Senior Vice President Hemant Sharma, Vice President Hari Mohan Sharma, Joint Secretary Chandra Prakash Sharma, Treasurer Badri Prasad Gautam, Executive Members Rubina Qazi, Manish Gautam, Lekhraj Sharma, Hanspal Yadav, Patrons K.L. Jain, Subodh Jain, Pawan Ahuja, Shyam Rohida, Pradyuman Sharma, Dheeraj Gupta, and others.
