Jaipur–Kota, On the occasion of World Health Day, the state-level launch of the Niramaaya Rajasthan Abhiyan was held on Monday at the Rajasthan International Centre, Jaipur. During the event, CMHO Dr. Narendra Nagar and District Tuberculosis Officer Dr. S.N. Meena were honored for their outstanding contribution in the 100-day Intensive TB Eradication Campaign, specifically in the category of Microscopic and NAAT (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test) testing.
The duo received a Certificate of Appreciation and Best Wishes under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 2024 for their dedicated efforts. The Chief Guest of the event was Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, while Health and Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar presided over the function. Both extended their congratulations and best wishes to the awardees.
Kota district conducted 26,843 Microscopic and NAAT tests, achieving 78% of the targeted goal under the 100-day campaign.
Senior dignitaries present at the event included Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary, Medical and Health; Ambrish Kumar, Secretary, Medical Education; along with various officials and staff members of the department.
