Regional Cultural Festival, organized by Vidya Bharati Sanskriti Shiksha Sansthan, Kurukshetra, was inaugurated on Monday at Vidya Niketan Higher Secondary School, Sector 4, with Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Ramesh Chandra Shukla, while Govindji served as the keynote speaker, and the special guests were Naveen Jha and Prakash Fulani.

In his address, MP Rawat remarked that this is a time when ancient Indian culture is receiving global recognition. He emphasized that by 2047, India will not only be a developed nation but will also have attained great prosperity, with Indian dance, music, customs, and cultural values playing a pivotal role.

Keynote speaker Govindji highlighted the importance of imbibing cultural values into daily life, urging people to understand, accept, and live by the principles inherited from their ancestors. He stated that events like the cultural knowledge examination and the cultural festival are essential in integrating these values into the lives of participants and future generations.

The guests were introduced by Vidya Bharati District Secretary Kalu Chaubisa, while Ramesh Shukla outlined the event’s agenda. A mesmerizing performance of the devotional song "Lakshya Tak Pahunchne Bina Pathik Vishram Kaisa" by Bhumi from Jodhpur enthralled the audience. Vidya Bharati President Prakash Fulani extended the vote of thanks, and the program was hosted by Poonam Chand Rathore.

The regional cultural festival featured over 250 students representing the Chittorgarh, Jaipur, and Jodhpur provinces of Rajasthan. The winners will represent the Rajasthan region at the national-level competition in Ujjain, starting from November 16. Various competitions, including quiz contests, sculpture-making, extempore speeches, storytelling, and academic presentations, along with other creative activities, were organized during the event.

It is noteworthy that under the *Sanskriti Bodh Project*, Vidya Bharati Sanskriti Shiksha Sansthan organizes the *Sanskriti Gyan* exam annually at the national level, with over 2.25 million students participating from across the country.
