Udaipur, Dr. Rehana Parveen from the Zoology Department of Government Meera Girls’ College, Udaipur, has been honored with a state-level award by the Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society on the occasion of World AIDS Day in Jaipur.
The award was presented by Chief Health Secretary Gayatri Rathore and Project Director Shaheen Ali Khan in recognition of Dr. Parveen's efforts in spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS among college youth and her exceptional contributions to the cause. The event was held at the Rajasthan State Institute of Public Administration auditorium.
Notably, this marks the third time Dr. Rehana Parveen has been recognized at the state level for her outstanding services. Out of 755 colleges, only three were selected for this honor, with Government Meera Girls’ College securing its place among them.
The program also featured a cultural performance on the theme of AIDS awareness, with a dance presentation on the song “AIDS Rog Khataro Aawa Valo Re Ki Bandhu Jaag Re” written by Jal Mitra Dr. P.C. Jain, adding a creative touch to the awareness efforts.
