Odisha CM Majhi and Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar Hold Courtesy Meeting,

Udaipur: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a descendant of Maharana Pratap and a member of the Mewar royal family, held a warm courtesy meeting at Jag Mandir Palace. Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh welcomed CM Majhi by presenting him with a historical portrait of the City Palace.

During the meeting, discussions were held on various contemporary and historical issues, including the long-standing ties between Mewar and Odisha. Notably, CM Majhi and Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh’s wife, Nivritti Kumari, share roots in Odisha. Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh’s father-in-law, Kanakvardhan Singh Deo, former Maharaja of the Patna-Balangir princely state, serves as the Deputy CM in the current BJP-led Odisha government, while his mother-in-law, Sangeeta Kumari Singh Deo, has been elected as a BJP MP from the Balangir Lok Sabha constituency for the fifth consecutive term. Nivritti Kumari is their only daughter.
