Friendship Cricket Match Organized on World TB Day to Raise Awareness

Udaipur. On the occasion of World TB Day, a friendship cricket tournament was organized between local doctors and social workers to raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB). During the event, all attendees took a pledge to spread awareness about the causes, testing, and treatment of TB.

Dr. Mahajan Eleven delivered an outstanding performance, securing victory in the match, while Sawan Dosi was declared the Player of the Tournament. Banners displaying TB prevention and treatment measures were placed around the ground to educate people about the disease.

Experts Emphasize the Importance of TB Awareness

The tournament was organized under the leadership of cancer specialist Dr. Manoj Mahajan, who stated that TB is a completely curable disease, but due to misconceptions in society, people often delay testing. Spreading the right information can help patients receive timely and effective treatment.

Dental specialist Dr. Saurabh explained that TB primarily affects the lungs and is a contagious disease that spreads through the air. Early detection and regular treatment can completely cure the disease.

Orthopedic specialist Dr. Sujay Gupta highlighted that the friendly cricket match served as a platform to encourage people to stay health-conscious and adopt preventive measures against TB and similar diseases.

Commitment to a TB-Free Society

The participating doctors, social workers, and players pledged to continue such awareness campaigns to work towards a TB-free society. The event was attended by I-Media Director Manish Menaria, Kapil Verma from Shri Business Solutions, Sawan Dosi, Rajendra Mod, and young entrepreneur Pranay Goyal, who also shared their insights on the cause.
