Udaipur: Under the joint aegis of Life Progressive Society Udaipur and Sahar Charitable Foundation, food supplies were distributed to 200 needy families, including differently-abled individuals, widows, the destitute, and the ill, at Jamaat Khana Rangrezan and Darkhan Wadi Masjid in Udaipur. The distribution took place after Iftar, with over 350 fasting individuals present. Maulana As Mohammad recited Fatiha and prayed for everyone's well-being and for peace and prosperity in India.
Dr. Khalil Agwani, the president of the organization, stated that this year, food supplies were specifically distributed to individuals aged 60 and above. Apart from Udaipur, beneficiaries from nearby areas such as Mahuwada, Nathdwara, Rajnagar, Gogunda, and Fatehnagar also received the aid.
Dr. Khalil Agwani further mentioned that in April and May, families with plots who are participating in the mass wedding ceremony would also be provided assistance. Secretary Fatima Agwani announced that from June onwards, training programs in sewing, henna application, computers, and coaching classes would be launched.
Dr. Khalil Agwani expressed gratitude to all those who contributed through donations and Zakat to support the initiative. The food supplies were distributed across all communities.
