Every Step of RSS Towards Nation Building

Stated that for the past 100 years, every Swayamsevak has been dedicated to society and the nation.

Limdi Bai Meena, an expert in indigenous herbs, presided over the Varsh Pratipada Utsav.

Udaipur, Addressing the Varsh Pratipada Utsav, Akhil Bharatiya Dharma Jagran Pramukh Sharad Gajanan Dhole emphasized the glorious journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its commitment to the upliftment of Hindu society. He stated that the 100-year journey of RSS serves as an inspiration for future generations and that every Swayamsevak is dedicated to serving society and the nation. He described every action of RSS as a significant step towards nation-building.

Speaking at the event held at Rajasthan Agricultural College Ground on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, Samvat 2082, he asserted that RSS’s mission is to make India self-reliant and economically independent. The organization has been conducting awareness campaigns and establishing connections at the village level to awaken the masses.

Sharad Dhole further remarked that RSS will enter its centennial year this Vijayadashami, marking a century since its founding by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. He described RSS as a mighty banyan tree, under which the spirit of national service continues to flourish. Dr. Hedgewar had envisioned that freedom and social upliftment must come from within the society itself, which led to the foundation of the RSS.

Highlighting the global impact of Hinduism, Dhole mentioned that Hindu Sanatan Dharma is no longer confined to India. The participation of foreign leaders and delegations in the Kumbh Mela signifies the growing global recognition of Hindu culture.

He also pointed out that RSS has reached over 5,35,000 villages, successfully uniting and awakening Hindu society. Vijayadashami Utsav will be celebrated across all branches of RSS.

Sharad Dhole reiterated that India is fundamentally a Hindu nation, and as Hindu society becomes more united, its faith and strength grow, leading to a stronger nation. He cited the Ram Janmabhoomi movement as a testament to the unwavering resolve and power of Hindu society.

Discussing RSS’s objectives, he highlighted that Dr. Hedgewar aimed to bring about positive social transformation, which began with shakhas that focus on character-building and leadership development. RSS is committed to nurturing ethical, duty-conscious, and cultured individuals who contribute to national progress.

Dhole also spoke about RSS’s continuous efforts to uplift marginalized sections of society. He noted that 1.5 to 2 crore people in India still lack basic amenities, including nomadic communities. Despite 75 years of independence, these groups remain deprived, and RSS is working towards their rehabilitation and integration into mainstream society.

He emphasized that RSS cannot be measured by conventional standards, as it is not just an organization but an ideology that brings positive change in people’s lives. RSS’s goal is to empower society’s noble forces and encourage social service initiatives.

Sharad Dhole concluded that the day is not far when India will reclaim its position as the world’s spiritual and cultural leader. The RSS chief’s Vijayadashami address has gained global significance, with many eagerly anticipating it each year.
