Happy Home School :Successful Educational Tour of GITS

 

Udaipur, : Students from the science stream of Happy Home School had the opportunity to embark on an enriching educational tour at the prestigious Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS) in Dabok on Friday. The purpose of this visit was to provide the students with an in-depth understanding of technical education and to introduce them to the various branches of engineering that offer exciting future opportunities.

The program was inaugurated by the esteemed Director of the institute, Dr. N.S. Rathore. In his welcome speech, Dr. Rathore emphasized the significance of educational tours in enhancing both theoretical and practical knowledge for students. He explained how such tours serve as a bridge between classroom learning and real-world applications, helping students gain clarity on their career paths and fostering a deeper appreciation for technical education.

The event was further honored by the presence of Financial Controller Mr. B.L. Jangid and Admissions Head Mr. Piyush Sharma. Both experts shared valuable insights with the students, guiding them through the benefits and opportunities available in the field of engineering. They encouraged the students to explore the different branches with curiosity and an open mind, as engineering offers a wide range of specializations and career prospects.

Assistant Professor Dharmendra Trivedi also addressed the students, providing expert guidance on the various challenges and possibilities within technical education. He elaborated on the importance of technical skills in today’s rapidly evolving job market and how engineers play a crucial role in building the future.

This insightful tour was led by Physics lecturer Robin Chaudhary and Scout Guide Urmila Kunwar from Happy Home School. Both educators were instrumental in ensuring that the students fully engaged with the tour and absorbed as much knowledge as possible. The students had the chance to explore state-of-the-art laboratories at Geetanjali Institute, including those dedicated to Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, and Technology.

The students didn’t just observe these labs; they actively participated in hands-on experiments, gaining practical experience in fields such as construction, mechanics, electrical systems, and advanced technologies. In the Civil Engineering lab, they were introduced to the fundamental principles of building and construction, while in the Mechanical and Electrical labs, they explored the inner workings of various machines and tools. The Computer Science and Technology labs offered them the chance to delve into coding and other innovations that are shaping the future of technology.
