International Conference on ‘Future of Mining’ to Begins

Udaipur: The Mining Engineers' Association of India (MEAI), Rajasthan Udaipur Chapter, in collaboration with the Student Chapter and the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), is organizing a two-day international conference on "Future of Mining: Digital Empowerment and Youth-Driven Sustainability" on February 22-23 at CTAE College, Udaipur.

Conference Secretary Hitanshu Kaushal stated that the event will focus on the future of the mining industry, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, automation, sustainable development, and policy frameworks. This unique event follows a "For Students, By Students" concept, making it a one-of-a-kind platform.

The conference will be inaugurated by Deepak Tanwar, Director of Mines and Geology, as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests include CTAE College Dean Sunil Joshi and MEAI National President S.N. Mathur.

Experts from across the nation and international mining specialists will share insights on emerging mining technologies, global challenges, and opportunities. Students from prestigious institutions, including IITs and NITs, will present their research papers.

The conference will include four key sessions led by industry experts, academic leaders, and student representatives. Topics will cover AI-driven mining safety, sustainable mining practices, environmental responsibility, automation, and policy regulations. Dr. Hitanshu Kaushal revealed that over 50 research papers will be presented and discussed during the event.
