The recently launched Malang Bits Band is not only unearthing hidden musical talents in the city but also providing them a platform to aspire to national and international acclaim.

The Beginning of Malang Bits

The foundation of Malang Bits was laid by entrepreneur and cinema enthusiast Mukesh Madhwani in October 2024. Mukesh explained, “Malang Bits is not just a band; it’s a tribute to Udaipur’s rich artistic and musical heritage. Our aim is to nurture young talent from the city and present it to the world.”

To ensure its successful operation, Nidhi Saxena, the Managing Director of the band, formed a dedicated team. She shared, “Malang Bits is for everyone who seeks a career, identity, or livelihood in music. We are committed to highlighting Udaipur’s best talents and providing them a stage and employment opportunities to shine locally and globally.”

Talent Selection Process

To identify its team, Malang Bits conducted three-phase auditions last month, which saw hundreds of participants, including singers, guitarists, drummers, and other instrumentalists. A panel of judges evaluated their skills, passion, and musical expertise, selecting 12 of the best—six men and six women. This team is now set to redefine music with their performances across the city and beyond.
