The literature gallery of Mevad's writers, created at the Udaipur Information Center to benefit local young readers and journalists, is gradually prospering. Mevad's writers are also supporting this initiative and presenting their books.
On Monday, former director of Prasar Shiksha, Maharana Pratap Agriculture and Technology University Udaipur and writer Dr. LL Dhakad presented his recently published extensive and colourful book 'Udaipur's Glory: Lakes and Culture' to Dr. Kamlesh Sharma, Joint Director of Information Center, and urged its utilization for the benefit of young readers and journalists. Dr. Dhakad conveyed his best wishes for the collection of creations of writers being carried out by the Information Center and called on other writers to contribute to it as well. On this occasion, educationist Prakash Tatet also lauded the efforts of the Information Center, considering it beneficial for youth and journalists. Dr. Sharma informed that this collection of literary works based on the historical perspective and culture of Mevad will provide useful reference material to the readers here.

The book 'Udaipur's Glory: Lakes and Culture' is a colourful book of 500 pages in A-3 size, containing more than 4,000 images. It presents the imagination of the past, present, and future development of the city of Udaipur. It includes complete information about all the city's lakes, along with other useful details related to water resources, current maintenance, causes and pollution prevention. Additionally, Udaipur's glorious history, cultural preservation, natural heritage, and important tourist destinations have been presented in an attractive manner.
