###Six Children's Plays Performed at Children's Theater Festival

New Delhi: At the Children's Theater Festival organized by Udaan - The Center of Theater Art and Child Development in New Delhi, children highlighted social evils through their plays. Directed and coordinated by renowned theater artist Sanjay Tuteja, six plays were staged, leaving the audience thrilled with the children's acting talents. The spectators were so impressed by the performances that they remained in their seats long after the plays concluded.

The festival was held at Muktadhara Auditorium in Gol Market, marking the culmination of summer workshops conducted at around ten locations by Udaan - The Center of Theater Art and Child Development. The festival's opening was graced by Kamaljeet Sahrawat, MP from West Delhi, conservationist Achal Pandya, and artist-director Pooja Singh.

The first play, "School Inspection," directed by Shivang Mishra, highlighted the flaws in the country's education system and encouraged the audience to raise their voices against these issues. The second play, "Dudh Mein Kuch Kala Hai," directed by National School of Drama graduate Krishna Rajput, exposed the shortcomings of the governmental and political systems. The third play of the first phase, "Ichcha Marzi Khwab," directed by NSD graduate Sagar Vashistha, addressed depression and the fast-paced nature of society, urging the audience to bring happiness into their lives.

In the second phase of the festival, three more plays were performed. The first was "Raja Aur Jadugar," directed by Daksh Chopra, where children used their acting skills to convey a message about overcoming anger. The fifth play, "Billi Rani Badi Sayani," directed by Krishna Rajput, was a humorous piece that had the audience laughing and entertained. The final play, "Laal Pencil," directed by Sagar Vashistha, emphasized nurturing children's innate talents.
