### Emphasizing Industry-Oriented Skill Development - Prof. Sunita Mishra

Udaipur, - Mohanlal Sukhadia University hosted a one-day workshop today focusing on overcoming challenges in the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and exploring the role of the National Academic Depository (NAD). Presiding over the event, University Vice Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra highlighted the significance of creating industry-aligned courses and vocational skill development programs, as outlined in NEP 2020. She emphasized that curricula should be tailored to meet industrial demands, offering students better career opportunities.


**Inaugural Address by Dr. Rajesh Chandra Kumawat**

The workshop commenced with an address by Dr. Rajesh Chandra Kumawat, the Controller of Examinations, who welcomed the guests and emphasized the need for the workshop. Dr. Kumawat stated that the primary goal of this workshop is to understand and address the challenges present in the education sector, ensuring students receive high-quality education. He urged all participants to collaborate in achieving the objectives set forth by the education policy.

**Insight into NAD and Its Functions**

During the workshop, Dr. N.K. Parikh explained the role and functions of the NAD system, elaborating on how students can securely upload and download their credentials. This step enhances the security of academic records and facilitates easy access.

**Addressing NEP Implementation Challenges**

Prof. K.B. Joshi addressed the challenges universities face in implementing NEP 2020, offering a comprehensive outline of solutions. He explained how institutions can streamline the policy’s application process effectively.

**A Vote of Thanks**

Dr. Mukesh Barber, Deputy Registrar, concluded the workshop by thanking the participants. The event saw the attendance of prominent faculty members, including Dr. Vardichand Garg, Registrar, and Dr. G.L. Vasita, Senior Accounts Officer, along with about 70 other participants, marking a significant step towards effective policy implementation.
