**Udaipr:** Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU) has been recognized among the top 100 state public universities in the country as per the NIRF India Rankings 2024, released on Monday. The university's Pharmacy Department has achieved an impressive 59th position in its category, showcasing a significant improvement from the previous year.
University spokesperson, Dr. Kunjun Acharya, stated that the Ministry of Education, Government of India, released this year's NIRF India Rankings on Monday evening. Under the astute leadership of Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunita Mishra, MLSU has achieved better rankings this year compared to the last. Notably, the Pharmacy Department has made a remarkable leap, advancing 14 ranks to secure the 59th position nationwide.
Prof. Shoorveer S. Bhanawat, Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), shared that the Pharmacy Department's national ranking has improved from 76 last year to 59 this year. Additionally, in the category of State Universities, MLSU has secured a place in the 51 to 100 band across the country. Furthermore, the university has been ranked within the 152 to 200 band in the overall university category.
On this momentous achievement, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sunita Mishra extended her heartfelt congratulations to all the faculty members and staff of the university.
