Udaipur. The second day of GeoYouth 2025, organized by the Department of Geology, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, took place on March 7, 2025 with technical sessions, poster presentations, and cultural programs.
Head of the Department, Dr. Ritesh Purohit, stated that geoscientists and researchers from various states across the country presented their research on key topics such as geomorphology, structural geology, paleontology, economic geology, hydrogeology, remote sensing, and mineral-mining geology.
The research presentations were evaluated by Prof. K.C. Tiwari from Siaji Rao University, Baroda, Prof. S.R. Jakhad from Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur, and Prof. Kamal Kant Sharma from Sangam University, Bhilwara.
Organizing Secretary, Dr. Harish Kapasya, informed that the event witnessed participation from 70 researchers representing various states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh.
