A group of around fifty students from Sir Padampat Singhania University undertook an educational industrial visit to the Electrical Engineering Department of the College of Technology and Engineering (CTAE), a constituent college of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. The primary objective of this visit was to familiarize students with cutting-edge technologies and provide practical exposure to green energy solutions.
During the visit, the students explored the Green Energy Lab and Solar Park at the department. They also inspected a 100-kilowatt grid-connected solar power plant and gained in-depth knowledge about its operational mechanisms. This hands-on experience offered the students a closer look at how renewable energy resources contribute to sustainable energy production.
As part of the program, the Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, Dr. Vikramaditya Dave, delivered an insightful lecture on green energy. He highlighted the significance of renewable energy in addressing global energy challenges. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to watch a solar film produced by Dr. Dave, which further inspired them to adopt and advocate for renewable energy practices.
This educational visit proved to be highly beneficial for the students, equipping them with practical knowledge and fostering an understanding of alternative energy resources and environmental conservation.
