The Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science, under the College of Community and Applied Science, organized the *Art Expo 2024*, where students displayed their artistic talents. The exhibition featured a variety of creative works, innovative products, and entrepreneurial projects developed by the students. The event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajit Kumar Karnataka, who praised the students' hard work and dedication, stating, "The level of creativity exhibited here is truly inspiring. Art lays the foundation for creativity, entrepreneurship is the courage to advance it, and innovation is the key to making it real."
Mrs. Saroj Karnataka closely observed the art exhibition and appreciated the students' exceptional work, creativity, and efforts. In her welcome address, Dr. Dhriti Solanki, Dean of the College of Community and Applied Sciences, remarked, "This event reflects the collective efforts of our students and faculty. We are proud to foster an environment where creativity thrives."
In addition to the artwork, the department also launched books titled *Environmental Studies and Disaster Management* and *Indradhanush: The Importance of Color and Light in Interior Design*. Posters on environmental conservation, planners based on time management, consumer product designs, and art collection booklets, all designed by the college's professors, were also unveiled.
Leading the organizing committee, Prof. Suman Singh expressed, "Seeing our education transform into student innovations is incredibly rewarding." Prof. Rekha Vyas praised the diversity of the displayed products, saying, "Our students are ready to face future challenges with both creativity and innovation."
Dr. Hemu Rathore, Head of the Department, encouraged the students, stating that the event provided a platform to showcase their talents and offered an opportunity to highlight art, design, and creativity in today’s rapidly changing world.
Dr. Jaymala Dave, Dr. Anjali Juyal, Ms. Bipasha Bhowmik, Ms. Anushka Tiwari, Ms. Avisha Saxena, Ms. Himanshi Paliwal, and Ms. Rishika Bhardwaj played key roles in organizing this successful event. Dr. Anjali Juyal conducted the program and delivered the vote of thanks.
