###Dr. Karnataka Appointed New President of IAUA

Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnatakaa, Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, has been appointed as the President of the Indian Agricultural Universities Association (IAUA).

Executive Secretary of the Association, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, informed that Dr. Karnatak was already serving as the Vice President of IAUA. However, he will now also assume the responsibilities of the President until the formation of a new executive committee. His tenure as President will continue until the committee is formed or until he completes his term as Vice Chancellor of MPUAT and Vice President of IAUA, whichever is earlier.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Karnataka is also holding the additional charge of Vice Chancellor of Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur. The headquarters of the Indian Agricultural Universities Association is located at the Pusa campus in New Delhi. Until now, Dr. N.H. Kelawala, Vice Chancellor of Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar, was serving as President, whose term concluded on April 25, 2025.
