###PIMS Institute of Computer Science Launches BCA Course

**Udaipur:** To provide new career opportunities for students in southern Rajasthan, Sai Tirupati University Udaipur has launched a new BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) course. Considering the current demands, admissions for the 2024-25 session have begun for this course, which focuses on practical education. This information was shared by Chairman Ashish Agarwal during a press conference. The event was also attended by Head of Department Devarshi Mehta, Dr. Naren Goyal, Director Dr. Rimjhim Gupta, Prof. President Piyush Javeria, industry expert Bhaskar Garg, Principal Vipra Sukhwal, and staff members.

Ashish Agarwal emphasized that the current era is dominated by computers, and many students wish to pursue a BCA course. However, most places still rely on traditional teaching methods, which often do not lead to good job placements for students. The goal of this course is to provide practical knowledge to students to help them build successful careers.

Devarshi Mehta and Dr. Naren Goyal explained that under Sai Tirupati University, the PIMS Institute of Computer Science will offer a three-year BCA degree course. This course will include specializations in Artificial Intelligence, industry-based training, Machine Learning, latest programming languages, and Digital Marketing, considering market demands. Students who have passed 12th grade from any faculty can enroll in this course.

Director Dr. Rimjhim Gupta mentioned that under the same university, the Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business (BBA-IB) offers international exposure, foreign tours, opportunities to learn e-commerce, and foreign languages. The MBA in Hospital Administration and Healthcare Management provides insights into various hospital operations and software management, offering numerous job opportunities in hospital administration. The BBA course also includes an international trip for students to learn management skills from industries abroad.

Prof. President Piyush Javeria added that for the past 21 years, VIFT College has been offering courses in Fashion Designing, Interior Designing, Journalism and Mass Communication, among others. The experienced faculty team at VIFT provides practical knowledge, enabling students to secure good positions and packages in major companies.
